BJD's Expiry Date June 4, BJP CM To Take Oath In Odisha On June 10, Reasserts PM Modi

 Bhubaneswar, May 28: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD)'s expiry date is June 4 and a Bharatiya Janata Party leader will take oath as Odisha Chief Minister on June 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated the claim in an interview with a News Agency today.

"A change in Odisha government is imminent. The Biju Janata Dal's expiry date is June 4. A BJP CM will take oath in the State on June 10," asserted PM Modi. 

When asked about the good relationship between him and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and latter has provided support to the former on various occasions, the Prime Minister said, "I prefer to protect Odisha's interest. Odisha is one of the rich states having natural resources. But it is also one of the poor States of the country. Odisha will prosper under the BJP government," he said. 

The Prime Minister also claimed that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) is trying hard to remain in power. 

It may be noted that the Prime Minister, at all public meetings he addressed in Odisha until now, asserted that the BJP will form a double-engine government in Odisha this time.  He made the claim first at the BJP's Vijay Sankalpa Samavesh at Berhampur.
